Acro

Our Acro Program combines the strength and flexibility of gymnastics with the creativity and performance quality of dance. As a certified Acrobatic Arts studio, we follow a safe, proven curriculum that allows dancers to progress through skill-based levels at their own pace.

All Evolution acro instructors are formally trained and certified through Acrobatic Arts, ensuring each dancer receives proper technique instruction, spotting, and individualized support. Classes focus on strength, flexibility, balance, and control, all while promoting confidence and body awareness.

Our program includes levels ranging from Primary through Advanced, and dancers are required to test out of each level before advancing to the next. This structured approach helps dancers build safely, celebrate milestones, and take pride in their progress.

Build strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence from the ground up! Acro Level 1 introduces dancers to the foundational skills of acrobatics using the Acrobatic Arts curriculum. Dancers will work on proper technique and progressions for skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, balances, and introductory partner work.

With a focus on safe skill development, body control, and strong technique, dancers will build the foundation they need to progress to more advanced acro skills. No previous acro experience is required!
